CIBC Mobile Banking - The Evolution
Early in 2010, CIBC emerged as the first major Canadian financial institution to launch a mobile banking application on Apple's iPhone platform. However, CIBC's mobile aspirations actually started much earlier. This presentation will provide a retrospective on the bank's foray into mobile banking and provide insight into some of the challenges, decisions and considerations that arose throughout the development and launch process. It will also examine some of the highly complex and competitive market dynamics at play in the industry.
